1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and StreetBites ("we", "us", "our") regarding your access to and use of the StreetBites mobile app, website (streetbites.app), and related services. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. About StreetBites

StreetBites is a platform that helps users discover nearby food trucks and allows food truck owners to share their locations, schedules, menus, and other information. StreetBites does not operate any food trucks, guarantee availability, or verify the accuracy of information provided by vendors.

3. Eligibility

To use StreetBites, you must be at least 13 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Food Truck Owner Accounts

If you register a food truck, you confirm that you have authority to represent the business and agree that you are responsible for the accuracy of all posted information, including locations, schedules, menus, and photos.

6. Location Services

StreetBites may request access to your device's location to display nearby food trucks. You may enable or disable this permission at any time. We are not responsible for inaccurate location results caused by GPS errors or user settings.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features may require payment or a subscription. Payments will be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. Billing terms, pricing, and cancellation options will be disclosed prior to purchase. You may cancel at any time per the provider's rules. Failed payments may result in suspended access to paid features.

8. Acceptable Use

• Do not use StreetBites for unlawful purposes.
• Do not harass, threaten, or harm users or food truck owners.
• Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not upload viruses, malware, or harmful automated tools.
• Do not post illegal, hateful, or misleading information.

9. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to display it within the Service. StreetBites owns all software, features, branding, and UI elements of the platform.

10. Third-Party Services

StreetBites integrates with services such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and map providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Service Availability

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or technical issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

StreetBites is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of food truck data or the availability of any vendor.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreetBites is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed $50 USD or the total amount you paid in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will include a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of StreetBites signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
